Our latest PLC controlled tape machine was built for a totally automatic taping process for our customer. The PVCu components are robot loaded into the rear of the machine and fed through by a conveyor transfer system to have the tape applied.
The tape is adhered and cut to an accurate length onto many differing PVCu profiles which are selected by a tool change from the PLC.
We also print the customer's details onto the tape using a LINX ink jet printer.
The advantages of this is that the customer can use any tape supplier offering the best deal at the time and print information to choice which avoids the expense of buying pre-printed tape.
This machine also uses our twin tape roll system which enables the machine to run continuously without the need for stopping to change over to a new roll of tape.
This system is ideal for customers that have tight production requirements and cannot afford any machine stoppages for tape changing.
This tape machine is performing quickly and reliably and has rapidly given our customer a fast return on their investment proving yet again that Aardvark Engineering can make your taping project into an economic success.
