Aardvark Engineering produce powered specialist Tape applicators and laminators capable of applying tape to virtually any profile and material. Our applicator rollers can place tape smoothly on up to 4 sides of a profile at once and can be adjustable for angle faces. 'Laminators for widths of up to 2 metres have been manufactured.

The example machine shown here was built to satisfy customer requirements for applying tape to an edge finisher. The product was previously packed by hand in cellophane.

This automated tape applicator gives better protection to the product and the tape is only removed after securing on site saving surface damage during the fitting operation.

This machine is totally versatile and will accommodate widths up to 100 mm by changing the tape roll and adjusting the side guides and pressure spring.

Speed can be made variable by the fitment of an inverter drive.

Tape tension is controlled by the friction mounting cones. These are set to keep tape taut as required which eliminates wrinkles and bubbles.

This attractive, durable covering enhances product appearance making it more attractive to the customer.

We can also advise on specific adhesive tape to meet your needs.

Machines are finished in a durable corrosion resistant coating and will give years of trouble free service.

Multiple face and auto cutting tape application

Aardvark engineering also supply a range of powered tape applicators that can apply tape to multiple faces at the same time. As with all our tape applicators automatic tape cutters can fitted to further speed up production.
