Aardvark Engineering produces specialist Tape applicators and laminators capable of applying tape to virtually any profile and material. Projects have included Tape Applicators for uPVC extrusions as well as aluminium profiles.
Aardvark's Tape Applicator and Laminator rollers can place ripple free tape on two sides of a profile at once. They can be quickly altered to different profile shapes by means of the swivel bolt and sideways movement of the rollers. An operation taking about 5 minutes.
Tape tension is controlled by the friction mounting cones. These are set to keep tape taut as required which eliminates wrinkles and bubbles. This attractive, durable covering enhances product appearance making it more attractive to the customer.
We also have our new Microtrak system which dispenses with tape cones making loading fast and easy, giving good edge repeatability and tape tuning is done by means of a hand knob easily adjusted by the operator.
